Today was my first appointment with Dr. Dunn. I forgot to bring my insurance card but the staff was extremely helpful in assisting me. The office was very clean and the area is beautiful. I felt welcomed and my appointment only took an hour in total even though I expected to be there much longer. The staff was nice and so was the doctor. I felt comfortable talking to her about any issues I had. I scheduled another appointment for a follow up and an insertion of a new contraception method the doctor professionally recommended. She took my personal being into consideration when suggesting a new method of contraception. I couldn't be happier with my new OBGYN office and doctor.
She has always been very patient and understanding with me. Everything has always gone smoothly. I was recommended to her by my two of my cousins that come to her. She was an essential part of my cousins successful delivery of her second baby, if she would not have been alert my cousins baby would have probably not have made it. How my cousin described how she reacted to the situation before during and after is what motivated me to come and see her and I am really happy that I did!
Dr. Dunn delivered my first son. The 41 weeks with her were awesome. They always worked with my schedule, and she was at every appointment and didn't keep me longer than necessary. My son was born Thanksgiving day and she was there every step of the day before and days after. Once she stopped practicing in 2017, she was so kind to call me after I emailed some questions. I appreciated that she followed my pregnancy from start to finish and thereafter as these days you get a rotating Dr. I'll miss her dearly.
She helped tremendously to figure out what was wrong. She did test after test, instead of giving me pills. Im back in Orlando, but she no longer with the firm. I didn't mind 2 hour wait time, I had her in 2014 before I moved from Orlando. Will love to see her again.
A total waste of time. At 30 weeks pregnant, I was looking to switch to Dr. Dunn's practice because my first doctors office would not support my decision to have a natural birth after a c-section. Dr.Dunn agreed to have a consultation with me before accepting me as a new patient, that far along in pregnancy. For the two weeks prior to my consultation, I ran around between practices, trying to get together all of my medical records for her to review so she could make her decision. The day before my consultation, Dr.Dunn informed me that she needed more of my records to make a decision, her staff informed me that I would have to come into the office and sign a release form for information. To make a long story short, the following day I drove for an hour to her office and showed up around the time of my scheduled consultation, knowing that I might not have the consult that day, but to sign the release form for information. Upon my arrival, her staff informed me that Dr.Dunn had reviewed my medical records again and decided that morning that she would not accept me as a new patient. She, nor her staff, ever made an effort to contact me to inform me of her new decision. I was basically told that I was there for no reason and that she would not have a consultation with me at all. I felt that was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional. I went to Dr.Dunn's office looking for a doctor who was understanding, cared for my welfare as well as my baby's, and who would help me to achieve a healthy and natural birth experience. Dr.Dunn did not even have the decency to acknowledge me during my scheduled consultation and speak with me one on one about her decision, something I feel all people seeking medical care are entitled to. If you're looking for a doctor who will consider your needs as a human being, woman, and expectant mother and who is backed by a competent and considerate staff, I would say look somewhere else.
